BECOMING A CHILD CARE PROVIDER
If you’d like to earn an income by making a difference in Weld County, establishing trustworthy and healthy relationships with children, and preparing them for positive outcomes at school, United Way of Weld County is here to help you become an official home-based child care provider in Weld County. We’ll help cover certain licensing costs and give you all the support you need to get started with your child care business.
Our goal is to help children succeed in every way, and that starts with early education and child care. To support the cause, United Way offers some financial aid and coaching for child care providers, plus we partner with organizations like Reading Great by 8 to provide tons opportunities and resources for all current and aspiring child care providers.
Whether you are providing care for a family, friend, and neighbor – or are interested in becoming licensed, we are here to support you! If you would like more information about how we can support you, please contact us at 970-353-4300 or email childcare4weld@unitedway-weld.org.
